At BeingOne Foundation, we are very true to our mission. We provide practical support through holistic education, skill empowerment, compassionate healthcare, legal advisory, and safe housing or shelter programs. We aim to break the systematic cycles of neglect for our Khawaja Sira or intersex community.
We believe that education is the foundation of success for a community. We initiated an education support program for our Khawaja Sira and intersex community to make them aware of their legal rights as citizens of Pakistan. Our experts design and deliver specialized, flexible learning environments customized specifically for adults within the community. The individuals get professional-level education through dedicated, expert teachers.
With skill empowerment, we aim to provide dedicated and interested individuals with specialized skills, helping them become self-reliant and independent individuals within society. We have arranged specialized vocational training programs, including beauty arts, tailoring, professional grooming, and other technical courses based on the community’s interests. Further, we guide the talented and interested individuals regarding job placements and micro-business setups to secure their independent and dignified future.
At BeingOne Foundation, we established a comprehensive, barrier-free healthcare ecosystem for our specialized community. The healthcare facilities include free walk-in medical consultations, psychological counselling, drug addiction recovery support, and medicine availability. The core priority of the healthcare program is to spread awareness of HIV and AIDS. We handle everything from community-wide testing and preventive measures to secure, continuous, and life-saving treatment for those who cannot afford their health expenditures.
One of our core programs is to protect the community against institutional exploitation, harassment, and physical violence. Our legal team works on the front lines to help individuals secure official state-level identity documentation, protect their constitutional citizenship rights, and navigate complex legal battles regarding ancestral inheritance and property ownership.
We initiated a secure housing and sanctuary program for individuals who are facing immediate physical danger, family rejection, homelessness, and other deprivations. These safe sanctuaries, also known as “Panah Gah,” do not offer emergency shelter but a long-term structured environment that heals, protects, and secures independent living.
BeingOne Foundation takes responsibility for providing free education, healthcare access, skill empowerment, legal advisory services, and safe housing programs for Pakistan’s Khawaja Sira and intersex communities.
You can support our mission to empower the special community by spreading awareness, donating funds, and volunteering with the BeingOne Foundation.
At BeingOne Foundation, we provide free HIV and AIDS test services to diagnose and treat affected individuals. Besides this, we provide awareness and take preventive measures to avoid such diseases among the Khawaja Sira community.
“Before finding BeingOne, I had no place to call home and no prospects for a safe future. Today, through their skill empowerment program, I am running my own small tailoring business and living with dignity.”
